BALANCING YOUR 9 TO 5 WITH YOUR SIDE HUSTLE▪️ I’m often asked how I juggle my 9-5 and my side hustle. So I know side hustling is not new and men and women have been doing it for years, what's new are the competing priorities. I've struggled with balancing my 9 -5 with growing my side hustle but I'm glad I know what to do...even if I might not always do them (that's another post entirely). --- Finding time for your business can be a struggle when you have commitments to your family, friends, professional associations and everything in between. It is, however, necessary to find time for your business and guard your time jealously.  In the early stages of growing your business, it requires more of your time and attention. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here are a few ways to find more time for your business ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1️⃣ Assess your time: Do an honest assessment of your time to find out where you could shave time spent on non-value adding activities. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2️⃣ Lunch Break: Dedicate two or more days a week to work on your business at lunch time. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3️⃣ Mornings & Evenings: Wake up an hour earlier to work on your business. Take advantage of evenings, instead of watching your fave show live, record it instead. DVR to the rescue! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 4️⃣ Delegate: Leverage the skills and talents of professionals so you work on the strategic tasks of your business. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 5️⃣ Eliminate: Cut out busywork that gets you nowhere. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 6️⃣ Automate: Review your tasks and automate tasks that do not require manual input. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 7️⃣ Document: Having your processes written down can save you a lot of time. Also, think about the templates that you can use in your business. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 8️⃣ Create a schedule and stick to it. __
